7-Day Tour of Morocco from Fez

Day 1: Fez – Meknes – Volubilis Ruins – Chefchaouen

Depart from Fez towards Meknes, the ancient imperial capital, to visit: Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then, visit the Volubilis ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage site with well-preserved mosaics and arches. Continue to Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City” in the Rif Mountains. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rabat (Capital of Morocco)

Free morning to explore Chefchaouen. Then, travel to Rabat, where we will visit: Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, overlooking the Atlantic. Overnight stay at a hotel in Rabat.

Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

Depart for Casablanca to visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the second largest in Africa. Then, stroll along the Corniche before traveling to Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel near Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Guided tour with a local guide in Marrakech, including: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, traditional souk, and Jemaa el-Fna Square. Free afternoon to continue exploring. Overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

Day 5: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Early departure to the High Atlas, crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass. Then, visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Arrival in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

Visit the film studios in Ouarzazate. Then, travel through the Valley of Roses and stop at the Todra Gorges, impressive red rock cliffs. Continue to Merzouga, where a camel ride will take you to a luxury camp in the desert. Dinner, Berber music, and an overnight stay under the stars.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Ifrane – Fez

Wake up to a desert sunrise and return to Merzouga on camels. Then, visit Rissani, a traditional Berber market, and continue through the Ziz Valley. Stop at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see wild monkeys. Visit Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Arrive in Fez and conclude the tour.
