3-Day Desert Tour from Fez to Marrakech



Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Depart from Fez heading towards the desert. First stop in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see monkeys in their natural habitat. Lunch in Midelt, then cross the Ziz Valley with stunning landscapes until you reach Merzouga.
Enjoy a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner, a Berber music show, and an overnight stay in a luxury camp under the stars.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up to a beautiful desert sunrise and enjoy breakfast. Return to Merzouga on camels, where your driver will be waiting. Depart for Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and then to Erfoud, known for its fossils.
Explore the stunning Todra Gorges, a paradise for hikers and climbers. Enjoy lunch in the area before continuing to the Dades Valley, with its red mountains and unique rock formations. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional hotel in the valley.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for multiple movies.
Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying spectacular views. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and transfer to your accommodation. End of the tour.
