5 Days in Morocco from Tangier

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen

On the first day of your 5-day tour of northern Morocco, you will be picked up at your accommodation, airport, or port in Tangier, known as “the bride of the north.” We will start by exploring the city, visiting the Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. After free time for lunch, we will head towards Chefchaouen, passing through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains, with stops for panoramic views. Overnight stay in a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Exploring Chefchaouen, the Blue City

After breakfast, we will explore Chefchaouen, famous for its blue and white painted buildings and alleys. We will stroll through its charming medina, filled with authentic blue doors perfect for photos. You will have free time for lunch, and in the afternoon, you can hike to the Spanish Mosque for a spectacular view of the entire city. Return to the hotel for the night.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, enjoy some more time in Chefchaouen before traveling to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After touring the ruins, we will travel 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, where we will visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani pond, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then, we will head to Fes, where we will spend the night in a riad.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes after breakfast to explore this imperial city and cultural and religious center of Morocco. We will begin by visiting the Royal Palace gate and the medieval medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Entering through Bab Boujloud, we will visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, the tanneries, and the Al Qarawiyyin University, the oldest university in the world. Then, we will leave the medina to explore the Jewish Quarter, known as the Mellah. Finally, we will visit an ancient fortress to enjoy panoramic views of the medina and the city of Fes before returning to the riad.

Day 5: Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

On the last day, we will leave Fes after breakfast and drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of its imperial cities. We will visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas. After some free time for lunch, we will continue to Casablanca, the economic center of Morocco. Depending on your flight schedule, we may visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in the country. Finally, we will drop you off at the airport. End of the tour.
