Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Depart from Fez heading towards the desert, with stops in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Lunch in Midelt and continue through the Ziz Valley until you reach Merzouga.

In the afternoon, enjoy a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to admire the sunset. Dinner and an overnight stay in a luxury camp with Berber music under the starry sky.

Day 2: Exploring Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Oasis – Flamingo Lake

Wake up to a desert sunrise and have breakfast. Explore the region:

• Visit a kohl mine (traditional Berber eyeliner).
• Meet nomads in their traditional tents.
• Discover Gnaoua music in Khamlia, a village with African roots.
• Take a walk through a palm grove and visit Merzouga Lake, home to pink flamingos.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After breakfast, visit the Rissani market, the ancient commercial center of the region. Stop in Erfoud to see fossils, then continue to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular red rock canyon.

In the afternoon, arrive at the Dades Valley, stopping at the “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and scenic viewpoints. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in the valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Skoura Palm Grove – Ouarzazate

Depart towards Kalaa Mgouna, famous for its Valley of Roses, where a festival dedicated to this flower is held every May.

Then, visit the Skoura Palm Grove and the Amridil Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco. Arrive in Ouarzazate, where you will visit the film studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Telouet – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village recognized by UNESCO and a filming location for movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, with stops at scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Marrakech, with a transfer to your hotel or the airport. End of the tour.
